This patio is a job I’m proud of because it was such a messy area of the garden, with parts of the retaining wall and fence missing, which I managed to rectify before completing the patio itself.

This was a fun project completed in just a day. The customer was happy with the job as they wanted it trimmed all around, then brought down to 10 ft, sloping parallel with the gradient of the ground — and that’s exactly what I achieved.

Here’s another great project we did for Thomas Merrifield — a step replacement. Both the landlord and tenant were extremely happy.

Here is George, one of our part-time employees, using a string line that’s been set perfectly square using Pythagoras’ theorem, then using the level to get it perfect. For this job, we used recycled fence posts — for economic and environmental reasons — to build a compost bin, and we wanted it to be perfect!

Here you can see the remaining pile after a large hedge reduction I completed. As an added extra, we can take away material, and it gets recycled in an environmentally responsible way.

This job was for the Charlbury Nature Recovery Group. I prepared the field for plug planting by mowing, then using my spring tine harrow to pull out the thatch, and finally collecting the grass with my lawn sweeper.

I trimmed up this overgrown hedge, bring it back to being neat and tidy.

This was quite an complex job we did in Summertown, Oxford, as we had to take all the material through the house. We put down plastic sheeting and made sure it was left cleaner than when we arrived! We also discovered some broken and clogged drainage, so we fixed that and pressed on — another happy customer.

I scalped and then went over this area with my spring tine harrow, ready for planting mixed meadow seeds.

Here is some more hedge trimming I did on this privet hedge.

My part-time employee George and I engineered this concrete plinth to be level, square, and perfectly calculated for oil flow.

Building this patio has been my favourite project to date, I loved the process, it is strong, drains well and the natural sandstone make it look sublime.

Installed 35 meters of sleepers, level with the lawn and slightly above the slabs, preventing gravel from spilling onto the grass. This path connects the driveway, garage, and front door. The customer was very pleased and said it greatly improved the curb side value of the property.

Returning this vegetable garden to its former glory by rebuilding the vegetable beds, adding new gravel, grading the neighboring lawn, sowing grass seed and pressure washing.

This project involved my brother and I, in one day, clearing and renovating the back garden of a house that had been unoccupied for a while.

This is a small dry stone retaining wall I built to create a flat seating area on the side of a hill.

This excavation project I did as part of my apprenticeship (www.tcgs.uk) where my boss and I dug out a driveway to replace it with fresh gravel.

We repaired the wall, installed a new membrane, planted lavender, added fresh compost, and pruned the roses.

Here we pressure washed and re-pointed the patio then put in sleeper borders to make mowing easier.

We also provide general garden maintenance.

I removed bamboo by cutting each bamboo stalk down to a stump and applying glyphosate. Then digging out the roots and applying another coat of glyphosate to the trench to get any of the remaining small spindly roots. I then refilled, leveled and turfed the area.

Re-turfing a lawn ruined during the house's renovations. Turfing is simple but dramatically improves your garden. This I also did on my apprenticeship (www.tcgs.uk)
